九州を初めて征した男。南北朝時代に菊池一族当主として南朝の懐良親王と共に史上初の九州統一を果たした英雄。
2人の若者は互いの抱える弱さを運命の出会いで乗り越え、己の信じるもののために、九州の地から圧倒的な勢力を持つ敵へと反撃の狼煙を上げる。

The Kikuchi clan was a legendary group of samurai based in Kikuchi in Kyushu. Takemitsu was the first to unite Kyushu. Takefusa stood up against the largest foreign invasion in Japanese history. In addition to them, the Kikuchi clan had other samurai who shone through the ages. The illustrations show how they lived their lives.
