筑後川の戦いの後、ついに二人は、九州南朝軍の政府である「征西府」を九州の首府である大宰府に移し、九州制覇を成し遂げます。これから１２年の歳月を大宰府で過ごし、これを征西府の黄金時代と呼んでいます。その繁栄ぶりは、中国からやってきた使者が、「日本の首都」と勘違いするほどだったようです。

この期間は、武光と親王にとって、ようやく一息つくような時間も出来た頃ではないでしょうか。既に二人の出会いから十数年が経過し、共に数々の苦難を乗り越えてきた仲です。他の臣下のいない二人の時には、気の置けない友人同士として屈託のない笑顔を向けあいながら、酒を酌み交わす日もあったかもしれません。

After the Battle of Chikugo River, Takemitsu and Prince Kaneyoshi unified Kyushu. They moved the capital to Dazaifu at this time and spent 12 years there. The prosperity of Dazaifu was so great that emissaries from China thought it was the "capital of Japan". .

This is the time when Takemitsu and Prince Kaneyoshi can finally catch their breath. I wonder.  More than ten years have already passed since they met, and they have overcome many hardships together.
